XF-7 Gun Lubricant
XF7 Lubricant is a very high quality waterproof grease with extraordinary lubrication and corrosion inhibition capabilities. It is NON TOXIC AND NON FLAMMABLE, safe to use almost anywhere, any time, in a wide range of environmental conditions. Formulated to lubricate and provide a protective barrier on most weapons and weapons systems as well as a wide range of other things like industrial machines, sports equipment, marine equipment, and much more. XF7 Lubricant™ provides continuous protection, easily withstanding maintained high temperatures, even in boiling fresh or salt water.
XF7 Lubricant is currently being used by our military with great success, keeping their firearms running smooth and reliably in hot, dusty desert conditions, in freezing weather, and in a variety of other extreme and adverse conditions. XF7 is a weapons grade lubricant that performs well in the most adverse conditions, in high temperatures, in fresh or salt water immersions, and during high cycle rates, providing continuous protection up to 500 degrees F.
XF7 will continue to provide short term protection up to 600 degrees F.
XF7 has been field tested for years in the harshest environments and in the widest range of temperatures and climate conditions of any weapons grade lubricant currently available. It has been field tested in hot, dry, dusty deserts and subzero conditions with tremendous success.

XF7 has been successfully used on numerous weapons systems to include, but not limited to;
AR15/M16/M4 type weapons, 50 Cal M2 Browning, HK91, FAL, SKS, AK 1911A1, Beretta 92/M9, SIG 226, Rem 700, and Winchester model 70.
XF7 does not contain Teflon, so no hydrofluoric acid is created if it burns off, as is the case with Teflon/PTFE lubricants. Gun cleaning is faster because most powder fouling wipes off easily.
XF7 is electrically neutral and about as nonreactive as possible in a WIDE variety of oxidizing chemicals from Hydrochloric and Sulphuric acids on up through really strong base chemicals like saturated Sodium Hydroxide solutions.
XF7 does not char or carbonize on metal surfaces so it will not damage common firearm finishes or other metal finishes.
XF7 will keep even hot atomized lead from adhering to the weapon because it has a higher degradation temperature than the lead!! The lead just hits the XF7, cools, and does NOT adhere.
Conventional lubricants have all turned to smokey filth long before XF7 is even under much thermal stress. The sooty greasy oil smoke deposits on the weapon, and adheres as it cools... if there is no XF7 there to keep it from getting to the metal.
Conventional lubes can combust when in contact with the hot atomized lead, leaving a seriously toxic soot and lead residue. The only way to remove this residue is by using expensive and carcinogenic solvents that put this toxic lead residue into a solvent solution that can penetrate skin quite easily.
XF7 has the ability to act as a near perfect oxygen barrier as well, and so prohibits burn on of lubricants from the ammo or other parts of the weapon. The waste can be easily removed with plain old soap and water safely and very inexpensively.
XF7 is currently used by several original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to include Smith Enterprises who uses it on the weapons they manufacture and U.S. Optics who currently uses it in the construction of their scopes to protect O-rings and lubricate moving parts. Other companies that endorse and provide XF7 to their customers include, Edged Weapons Specialties who ships out all of their Mad Dog Knives with a tube of XF7 to protect the bare steel edges and the Knife Factory Outlet who also uses XF7 to protect the wide range of blades that they sell.
XF7 Lubricant affords a protective barrier even in boiling fresh or salt water, without running, dripping or melting, making it a particularly good choice for protection in any marine environment.
XF7 Lubricant is clear/amber, non staining, non toxic, and O-ring friendly. It does not attack rubber or polymers so it protects and extends the life of O-rings even with extended exposure to fresh or salt water, making it an important part of scuba equipment protection and maintenance.
XF7 Lubricant has been successfully used to protect and lubricate various parts of sailboats, especially on winches and other mechanical devises.
XF7 Lubricant smeared on Titanium surfaces will reduce the electrical/Galvanic effect in strong electrolyte solutions like sea water, and dramatically reduces the scavenging effects that the Ti has on other metals lower in the galvanic series. This has been demonstrated on numerous Sabenzas used in maritime environments and on Newton Dive Suits.
XF7 Lubricant works great on high shear propellers, keeping them corrosion and marine growth free much longer than using a zinc scavenger plate
