Shooting the Bodyguard was nice. It fires well from one or two handed and proved accurate at 25 feet. the trigger is a full 10lb or better, however it is smooth and staging is simple making the heavy trigger not feel quite so heavy. The steel magazine drops from the gun effortlessly when the mag release is pressed. I have had NO trigger issues or any of the other issues you may read about on the web. I think Smith & Wesson has addressed any issues this gun may have had. I fired 500 rounds from Federal Hydra Shock to FMJ Ball Ammo without any hiccups. I have confidence in the functionality of the Bodyguard.
Overall I am glad we had a warm April day in Massachusetts. That day brought me to Mike at Gun and Gun Parts where I purchased my Bodyguard .380 for under Smith & Wesson's list price of $399. The Gun looks Great, Is constructed well, and Functions Flawlessly.
