The Walther shoots nice with little recoil but it is an oil hog. Don't let it run dry on you as it is unforgiving and screams for a drink. The accuracy is borderline acceptable with groups difficult to obtain. Returned to smith and wesson and had the slide and barrel replaced with no improvement. I have heard of people saying that HP's do not feed properly. I have not had any issues with federal hydrashock's running through it.
Packaged in a decent plastic case with foam cutout. The only thing on this gun that I can say "Walther---what the hell were you thinking" is the key for takedown. dont loose it or forget it when you go to the range. That in itself make me question the use of this gun as a backup.
Overall: Great Gun Would Buy Again from mike at Gun & Gun Parts.
