Is this course required for a LTC
A. Yes... this firearms training class is one of the approved courses set by Mass & CT for a LTC.
What Guns Do You Use For The Class?
Ruger MK 3 Hunter .22, FMK 9C1 9mm, Sig Sauer .40 cal , Ruger SP101 .357
And a Smith and Wesson Model 28
Where do I apply for a Mass License to Carry Firearms?
A. At the police station in the city or town where you reside.
How long does the application process take.
A. The local police department must send your fingerprints to the State
Police within seven days of application; They have 30 days to respond.
The License can not be issued until the Colonel’s office has approved it.
This procedure takes from two to six weeks.
Do I need to bring anything to the Firearms Class
A. Everything is provided, however it is a good idea to bring your own
glasses and hearing protection, but not mandatory.
Can I carry concealed in Mass
A. Yes with a Class A LTC
